David Storey

David Malcolm Storey was an English Playwright, Screenwriter, award-winning novelist and a professional rugby league footballer. The film of his novel This Sporting Life, which won the MacMillan Fiction Award, was filmed in and around Wakefield and starred Richard Harris.
